Customized in lengths of twelve to nineteen feet, the freestanding 2010 Automated Rug Duster is a full size in-plant machine driven by a Baldor motor, and the rotating metal conveyor grid-bed has variable speed control. The viewing windows permit the operator to examine the rugs as they pass under the straps and, according to the amount of soil, adjust the grid-bed's progress. Debris falls into a tray and, on top of the duster; six inch ducting allows the facility operator to install a suitable dust collecting system. For those plants where the machine is against a wall, rugs exit from the front. This equipment is an alternative to the Soil Separator, which employs long square beater bars and rubber conveyor belting.
Electrical needs are either 220 or 240 volts, single or three phase.
